Financial Restructuring

In our financial restructuring practice, we represent secured and unsecured creditors in dealing with financially troubled debtors in out-of-court workouts as well as in bankruptcy. Our clients include domestic and foreign commercial banks, asset-based lenders, agents for multi-lender groups, hedge funds, insurance companies, equipment lessors and major public debtholders. Working closely with our clients, we analyze the situation of the debtor, develop strategies and tactics for dealing with the situation and participate in the implementation of these strategies, with the goal of maximizing the ultimate recovery for our client.

• Familiarity with diverse industries, including agriculture,
  apparel, automotive, aviation, broadcasting, chemicals,
  commodities trading, cosmetics, importing, machinery and   equipment, paper, pharmaceuticals, precious and non-
  precious metals, real estate, retailing, seafood, services,
  textiles and transportation

• Working with a worldwide network of legal, financial and
  investigative professionals to identify problems, including
  investigation of fraud, and to develop solutions

• Evaluation of collateral and enhancement strategies

• Out-of-court workout and restructuring plans

• Debtor-in-possession and exit financing in
  Chapter 11 reorganizations

• Sales of assets under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code
